I wanted to produce a collection that allowed people to explain how connections to place influenced how they saw themselves.

My guests did that, and the stories they shared were about personal identity, family, love, and sacrifice. Each perspective was so valuable that it didn’t make sense for them to be a part of a collection anymore. Each story deserved its own name.
